Thomas P. Tallman
Tom Tallman is a lifetime Village of Hamburg resident, who served as Trustee and Deputy Mayor prior to being elected Mayor in March of 2022. He also served on the Village's Planning Commission.
Tom worked in building products sales for 42 years before retiring in the Fall of 2021. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge of building design and materials, project development, and his leadership and experience with various initiatives and projects has already served the Village well.
He played a pivotal role, with his colleagues on the Board, in providing a steady hand navigating the growth of the Village, including the Route 62 project that brought in the roundabouts and transformed the Village into the beautiful destination it is today. Tom looks forward to working with the current Board as the Village continues to balance the traditions of a close-knit community with new and exciting initiatives.
Tom and his wife Donna are the parents of 3 daughters, Katherine, Emily and Rebecca and loving grandparents of 2 grandchildren.
The Mayor serves as Police Commissioner and represents the Village on the following committees and organizations:
